Yesterday I posted the fire video. As expected, took a lot of verbal beating from internet Monday Morning Quarterbacks who think they know about everything from emotion control, to my having failed at fighting the fire while I waited for the professionals to arrive. These same people are the ones who will criticize if a person dies trying to do something they were unprepared to do. Humans are the reason I am most comfortable around animals.
Some quotes I wrote today:

(I was commenting on a post about grief, remembering a total stranger who cried with me at the library, as we both spoke about our beloved dogs that went to Heaven)
NEVER LOSE HOPE. God tells us that. Always speak positively. Miracles happen all of the time. (this was for a woman who thought she lost a wild critter she has been caring for. She was sure someone left the front door open and the animal escaped the home and died. She was so very sad. Until she found signs of mess in her sewing room. And there she was, the cutie was exploring the house.
